DONEGAL WOMAN CHOSEN AS DUBAI’S ROSE OF TRALEE

A young Donegal woman has been chosen to represent Dubai in this year’s Rose of Tralee.

Gorgeous Grainne Boyle, from Gartan in Churchill, beat off the challenge of a number of other girls at the Rose of Dubai at the weekend.

Grainne is the daughter of Grace and James Boyle.

Former bank official Grace, who is heavily involved with organising this weekend’s North West 10K and Donegal County Council Chief Engineer James are well-known throughout the county.

Grainne was chosen as the Dubai Duty Free entrant before being crowned the Rose of Dubai at the glitzy ceremony last Friday night at the Mehteran Theatre.

She will now go on to compete in the Rose of Tralee Final in Kerry from the 19th until the 23rd of August.

We wish Grainne and the entire Boyle family the very best of luck in the Rose of Tralee and for flying the flag for Donegal.
