ST EUNAN’S CLUB NOTES – 25/04/11

Club Notes – Naomh Adhamhnáin – 25.04.11

Congratulations to Rory Kavanagh and Kevin Rafferty on helping Donegal clinch the Div. 2 NFL title in Croke Park on Sunday.

The Seniors continued their winning ways in their Championship dress rehearsal on Monday against Dungloe in the Park. The Reserves also won their game to continue their good start to the League. At the time of going to press, we are unsure of next weeks fixtures as the Gaeltacht Finals are on, keep an eye on the club e-mail for updates.

The Junior Men’s footballers continue to train on Tuesday and Thursday at ^;45pm and everyone is welcome.

The Annual Golf Classic will be held in Barnhill on Saturday, May 28th this year and is once again being co-ordinated by James Friel (086-8255474)  with the help of Paul Carr. Please contact them for details.

The Major Fundraising Draw for this year is currently being finalised. We are selling €20 tickets with a fantatsic top prize of €10,000 cash. Brian Kelly is the Draw co-ordinator so please contact him at the Washing Well or on 086-4188389 if you want to help.

The Minor boy’s footballers had a good win over Malin in a close game on Good Friday in the Park. This week they take on Gaoth Dobhair in Magheragallen.

The U-16 Boys had a big win over neighbours Termon on Friday.

The James Gallagher Memorial Cup is up and running. The lads travel to Fanad this Tuesday evening and a draw will see them into the semi-finals. They defeated Gaoth Dobhair in a close game last week.

The U-12 Go Games begin on May 2nd. The U-12’s (Brian McGeehin) travel to Downings with the U-11’s (Pauric Ryan) are at home against Buncrana.

The Sunday Morning U-10 Football Academy returns this Sunday (May 1st) at 11am. Once again all coaches are asked to be early to get set up.

The Friday Evening Hurling & Camogie Academy is still on a break this week and will return on Friday week (May 6th) at 6:30pm.

The Minor Hurling Championship Semi-final is at home this Thursday v Aodh Ruadh. The U-14 Hurlers play away to Carndonagh in the League this Thursday. The U-14 Ulster Hurling Feile is on this Saturday, 30th April. Details at training.

U-12 & U-14 Hurling training is on Tuesday at 5:30pm. U-16 & Minor training is on each Monday at 5:30pm. There will be further U-10 blitzes on 22nd May, 26th June & 24th July. The next U-8 blitzes will be held on 8th May, 12th June and 10 July.

The lotto numbers for this week were not available at the time of going to press. They will be sent in Club e-mail and in next week’s published notes.
