A woman who got stranded out to sea off Bundoran today has been released from hospital.
The swimmer was brought ashore by the RNLI lifeboat after she got into difficulties this afternoon.
A man went to the women’s aid and kept her safe until the lifeboat arrived at the scene.
She was taken to Sligo General Hospital but was later released.
The RNLI has once again warned people to be careful on the waters around Donegal this weekend with temperatures expected to soar to above 19C.
