Finn Harps have been handed a tough assignment in the FAI Cup 3rd round with a trip to Flancare Park to face Longford Town.

The Ballybofey club who are hovering close tot he bottom of the First Division will be hoping for a decent cup run to take their minds of their poor league form.

New management team Peter Hutton and Felix Healy didn’t get off to the best of starts last weekend when they were beaten 1-0 by Mick Wallace’s Wexford Youths at Finn Park.

The Derry duo have admitted that they have been surprised by some of the player’s naivety but said they are impressed by the talent and ambition among the squad of players.

All games are set to be played the weekend of June 5th.
