Rory Kavanagh could miss Donegal’s Ulster SFC quarter-final clash with Cavan on June 12 after picking up an ankle injury in a club game on Tuesday.
Kavanagh is understood to have suffered a recurrence of an old injury and there are said to be genuine worries over his fitness for the Ulster clash.
The Donegal player lined out for St Eunan’s 48 hours after Donegal’s preliminary round win over Antrim.
A full round of Donegal League matches took place on Tuesday evening.
And serious questions are being asked about why senior games were timed so close to an Ulster Championship match.
