TOP DJ Nikki Hayes has revealed there is a new love in her life…a soldier from County Donegal!
And she has said that she’s “very happy” after finding love Letterkenny man Frank Black.
The former 2FM DJ – now with Dublin station Spin 103 – says the relationship is “very out of the blue” for both of them.
The pair have been dating for the past two months and Nikki said things have been going really well.
“I know his family since college, his cousins are friends of mine but I only met him on my birthday for the first time,” she revealed.
“He’s in the army, based in Cathal Brugha barracks, but he’s originally from Letterkenny. There was just something when we met and it’s nice to have something to smile about again.”
The presenter – well known on the club circuit – says listeners have inundated her with messages of support since learning about her new love.
Bray native Nikki, 33, has been working with the station since last September after RTE bosses decided to discontinue her weekend show on 2fm.
She once said of her new station Spin: “It’s just stress free, everybody’s lovely, they’re all young and vibrant. In a way, it’s given me a new lease of life.”
