Donegal eased through to an Ulster SFC semi-final meeting with Tyrone, after beating Cavan at Kingspan Breffni Park 2-14 to 1-8 – a nine point victory

Cavan’s Ray Cullivan and Donegal skipper Michael Murphy both receives straight red cards inside the opening 15 minutes, and 18-year-old Paddy McBrearty’s 21st minute goal sent Donegal in with a 1-06 to 0-03 interval lead.

Rory Kavanagh hit a second Donegal goal to put the game out of sight, with Michael Brennan grabbing a stoppage time Cavan goal.
