Lagan Harps travelled to Ballybofey on Sunday June 19th to record a victory over Cappry Rovers by 2 goals to nil in the Under 12 Boys Champions League.

The game was a very tight affair with both teams showing great spirit and skill and there was a series of good chances for goals from both sides but good goalkeeping kept it level at half time.

Ryan Lochart pulled off a spectacular save to deny Cappry the opening goal. The game was in the balance until the final 10 minutes when Stephen Gallagher latched on to a fine cross and scored an excellent goal.  Stephen followed up with a second goal, hitting the back of the net with a powerful shot.

Lagan’s  win was down to a fine team performance.

Lagan Harps have now reached the semi finals of the Champions League u12 finals.
