OBITUARY NOTICES FOR TODAY – THURSDAY, JUNE 23RD

MCFADDEN

The death has taken place at Letterkenny General Hospital of Hugh McFadden, Sancta Maria, Gortlee, Letterkenny.

Funeral from his home tomorrow (Fri) morning at 10.15am going to the Church of the Irish Martyrs, Ballyraine for Requiem mass at 11 o’clock.

Burial afterwards in Conwal Cemetery.

Family flowers only please, donations in lieu to the I.C.U, Letterkenny General Hospital – c/o Pascal Blake, Funeral Director, New Line Road, Letterkenny.

CANNING

The death has taken place at Letterkenny General Hospital of Joe Canning, Lurganboyce, Rathmullan

Removal from the Chapel of Rest at Letterkenny General Hospital this (Thurs) afternoon at 3pm going to the family home

Requiem mass in St Catherine’s Church, Oughterlinn on Saturday morning at 11 o’clock, with burial in the adjoining cemetery. House is private.

SARSFIELD-SMITH

The death has taken place at Brentwood Manor Nursing Home, Convoy of Patrick Sarsfield-Smith of Carrick, Castlefinn

Removal from the nursing home this (Thurs) afternoon at 2.30, going to his late residence.

Funeral from there tomorrow (Fri) morning at 10.30 for 11 o’clock requiem mass in St Mary’s Church, Castlefinn, followed by interment in the adjoining cemetery.

MCFADDEN

The death has taken place at his residence of Bill Mc Fadden, Ballyoghan, Carrigart.

The funeral tomorrow, Friday morning to the Church of St John the Baptist, Carrigart for 11 o’clock Requiem Mass followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery.

The house is strictly private please from 10pm to 10am.

MCBRIDE

The death has taken place at Letterkenny General Hospital of Francie Mc Bride of Annagry. His removal too from Mc Glynn’s Funeral Home, Chapel Road, Dungloe last night, going to his late residence and funeral arrangements will be confirmed later.

DUDDY

The sudden death has taken place of Moya Duddy, Dirlaugh, Lettermacaward.

Funeral Mass on tomorrow morning Friday in St Bridget’s Church, Lettermacaward at 11 o’clock with burial afterwards in the adjoining graveyard. The house private from 11pm to 9am.

BRENNAN

The death has occurred of Frances Brennan, (née Sweeney) of 331 Coneyburrow Road Lifford. Reposing at her home. Funeral leaving her home today, Thursday, at 10.15a.m.for Requiem Mass in St Patrick’s Church, Murlog at 11a.m. Interment afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. Donations in lieu of flowers please to Lifford Hospital Patients’ Comfort Fund c/o 1A, Newtown Place, Strabane Much loved wife of the late Robert, dearly loved mother of Ann, Eamon, Dessie, Bernadette, Margaret, Robert, Geraldine, Lorna and Sharon and sister of John, Gerard, Maurice, Norrie, Margaret and the late Bridie.
