OBITUARY NOTICES FOR TODAY – FRIDAY, JUNE 23RD

MCCLAFFERTY

The death has taken place Eileen McClafferty, Moyra, Falcarragh

Her funeral Mass on Sunday afternoon at 1pm in St Finnian’s Church, Falcarragh, with burial afterwards in the adjoining Cemetery

House private from 11pm to 10am. Family flowers only Donations in desired to the Oncology Ward Letterkenny General Hospital or the Donegal Hospice.

HANLEY

The death has taken place of Joe Hanley, Cornagill, Letterkenny. His remains are reposing at his son Donal’s home at Cornagill.

Removal from there tomorrow (Sat) evening at 6 o’clock going to St Eunan’s Cathedral to repose overnight with funeral mass on Sunday at 2.30pm. Burial afterwards in Conwal Cemetery.

Family time from 10pm to 11am.

ALLEN

The death has taken place at Letterkenny General Hospital of Weir Allen of Three Trees, Quigley’s Point. His remains are reposing at his home.

His funeral from there tomorrow (Sat) afternoon at 2 o’clock for Service in Greenbank Presbyterian Church at 2.30pm with burial afterwards in Muff Parish Church.

HOLMES

The death has taken place at Altnagelvin Hospital of Dessie Holmes, 18 Bell Road, Urney, Clady and formerly of Castlefin.

Funeral from his home tomorrow (Sat) morning at 10.15am for Requiem Mass in St Columba’s Church, Doneyloop at 11 o’clock. Family time please from 11pm to 11am.

MCINTYRE

The death has taken place at his residence of Willie Mc Intyre, Aghilly, Buncrana

Funeral from there on Sunday morning at 11 .45 for mass in St Mary’s Oratorty, Buncrana at 12.30, followed by burial in St Mary’s Cemetery, Cockhill

CANNING

The death has taken place at Letterkenny General Hospital of Joe Canning, Lurganboyce, Rathmullan. His remains are reposing at the family home.

Requiem mass in St Catherine’s Church, Oughterlinn tomorrow (Sat) morning at 11 o’clock, with burial in Rathmullan cemetery

The house is private please, at the request of the deceased.
