Our Senior team will play Convoy in the League on Saturday evening. The reserves travel to Dooey on Sunday for the return leg of the Junior B championship preliminary round.

The U16s were defeated by Red Hughs in the championship on Monday evening last. A goal from a free kick, the last kick of the game gave Red Hughs victory in a game where the Gaels were leading by six points at half time. Best for Gaels were Conor Browne, James Carr and Conor Sweeney. Final Score was Gaels 1.9 Red Hughs 2.7. They now go forward to play Downings in the Shield semi-final on Monday the 4th July at Páirc na nGael.

The U14s are at home to Termon on Wednesday evening

The U12s went down to a narrow defeat to St. Michaels at Pairc na Gaeil last Friday. They played St Eunans in the final U12 go-game in Pairc na nGael on Monday evening and performed well against a strong Eunans outfit.

Gaels hosted an U10 hurling blitz on Sunday morning with teams from Setanta, Aodh Rua, Four Masters, Dungloe, Gweedore and St. Eunan’s taking part. Our two teams performed well and showed great determination and enthusiasm in their matches. Thanks to Conor and Deirdre, Young Whistlers, who refereed and to coaches and parents who helped on the day and provided refreshments for everyone.
