OBITUARY NOTICES FOR TODAY – TUESDAY, JUNE 28TH

CONNELLY

The death has taken place of Teresa Connelly, Coughlan Ave, Frosses. Removal today, Tuesday, from Letterkenny General Hospital at 5pm to the home of John and Chris Griffin, Scrawhill, Mountcharles. Removal on Wednesday morning to St Mary’s Church, Frosses, for Requiem Mass at 11am. Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

PORTER 

The death has taken place at the Donegal Hospice of Deirdre Porter, Stragill, Buncrana. Her remains will repose at her residence from 12 noon today, Tuesday. Funeral on Thursday, leaving her late residence at 10.15 for 11AM Requiem Mass in St Mary’s Church, Cockhill, followed by burial in St Michael’s Graveyard, Urris. Family flowers only please, donations in lieu if desired to the Donegal Hospice c/o any family member

BOYLE

The death has taken place at Lifford Hospital of Cathal Boyle, formerly of Muckish Avenue in Letterkenny. His remains will leave McGlynn’s Funeral Home, Chapel Road, Dungloe at 5pm today, going to his niece Sheila Boyle’s home in Mullaghduff. Removal from there tomorrow, Wednesday evening, to arrive at Star of the Sea Church, Annagry at 7.30PM. Requiem Mass on Thursday morning at 11AM followed by burial in the adjoining graveyard.

McGOWAN

The death has taken place of Paddy McGowan, 12 Marian Villas, Donegal Town. Removal from the Harbour Lights Nursing Home Killybegs at 2pm today to the family home at 12 Marian Villas, Donegal Town. Removal from his residence on Wednesday at 10.15am to the Church of the Four Masters, Donegal Town for 11am mass with burial immediately afterwards in Killymard cemetery. House private on the morning of the funeral please.

GALLAGHER

The death has taken place at her home of Kathleen Gallagher, Church Road, Falcarragh. Her remains are reposing at her late residence. Requiem Mass tomorrow, Wednesday, at 12 noon in St Finian’s Church, Falcarragh, followed by burial in Dunlewey cemetery. House private please from 11pm to 10.30am.

ROBB 

The death has taken place at the Nursing Unit, Buncrana  of Tommy Robb, Moress, Inch Island. Removal from Murphy’s Funeral Home today, Tuesday, at 5pm going to his late residence. Funeral on Thursday morning at 10.15 for 11AM Requiem Mass in Our Lady of Lourdes Church, Inch Island, followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery.

 CURRAN 

The death has taken place at his home of Eddie Curran, Curransport, Meenlaragh. His remains are reposing at his home. Requiem Mass tomorrow, Wednesday, in St Colmcille’s Church, Brinalack at 11am followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery. House private from 11pm to 10am please.

O’CONNOR

The death has taken place of Bridie O’Connor, late of Tibohine, Castlerea, Co Roscommon, mother of retired Garda John O’Connor, Milford Road, Ramelton and grandmother of Garda John O’Connor, Buncrana. Removal from her late residence at 8pm this evening, Tuesday, St Baoithin’s , Tivohine. Requiem Mass tomorrow, Wednesday, at 1pm, with burial afterwards in Fairymount Cemetery.

CANNON

The death has taken place at the Harbour Lights Nursing Home in Killybegs of Hannah Cannon, Straleel, Carrick. Reposing at her late residence. Funeral Mass tomorrow, Wednesday at 12 noon in St Cartha’s Church, Kilcar, followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery.

CURRAN

The death has taken place in Glasgow of William Joseph Curran, formerly of Newtowncunningham. Funeral from his sister Margaret’s home at Murlog, Lifford tomorrow, Wednesday morning at 10am for 11am Requiem Mass in All Saints Church, Newtowncunningham, followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery.

MUDD

The death has taken place at her residence of Bridget Mudd, nee Mc Daid, 4 St John’s Park, Gransha Road, Buncrana, formerly of Clongash Her remains will leave her home tomorrow Wednesday morning at 10.15am for 11am Requiem Mass in St Mary’s Church, Cockhill, followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery. House private please from 11pm to 10am.

ROWAN

The death has taken place of Patsy Rowan, Marine Drive, Killybegs. Removal from her residence today, Tuesday, at 10.15am to St. Chartha’s Church, Kilcar for 11am Mass. Burial afterwards in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Killybegs. Family flowers only please. Donations in lieu, if desired, to Donegal Branch, The Alzheimer Society of Ireland.

MONAGHAN

The death has taken place of Paddy Monaghan. 53 Liscloon Drive, Shantallow, Derry His remains will repose at his late residence from 3om today, Monday. Removal from there on Wednesday at 2pm, going to his former residence at Hilltown , Buncrana. Funeral mass in St Mary’s Church, Cockhill on Friday morning at 11am, followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery.
