OBITUARY NOTICES FOR TODAY – SATURDAY JULY 2ND

GALLEN

The death has taken place at the Galway Clinic of Rose Gallen, Portobello, Crossroads, Killygordon. Removal from McCool’s Chapel of Rest, Navenny car park, Ballybofey at 10pm going to her late residence. Funeral leaving her home on Monday morning at 10.30am for 11am Requiem Mass in St Patrick’s Church, Crossroads followed by interment in adjoining cemetery. Family flowers only, family time from 11pm to 10am

WALLACE

The death has taken place at University Hosiptal Galway, of Ronnie Wallace, Ballyboe, Convoy. Remains will be reposing at his residence from 6pm this evening, Saturday. Funeral arrangements will be announced later.

McATEER

The sudden death has taken place at his home of John McAteer, Doobeg, Fanad and also of Muff. Removal from the Eternal Chapel of Rest, Mountain Top, Letterkenny today (Saturday) at 4pm going to his late residence in Doaghbeg, Fanad. Funeral from there on Monday at 10.30am going to St Patricks Church, Ballinacrick, for 11am Requiem Mass, followed by cremation in Roselawn Cemetary. Family flowers only please, donations in lieu if desired to Rehab Stroke Unit, Letterkenny c/o Eamon Scott Funeral Director, Fanad or any family member. House private from 11pm to 10am

PORCHE

The sudden death has taken place of Herbert Porsche (Herbie), Inver and Ardara and late of Germany. Remains reposing at his home. Removal from there tomorrow (Sunday) morning at 10.20am to the Church of the Holy Family, Ardara for 11 o’clock Requiem Mass. Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

McELCHAR

The death has taken place at his home of Davey McElchar, Sessiaghoneil, Ballybofey. His remains are reposing at his sister Molly McMahon’s home at Sessiaghoneill, Ballybofey. Removal tomorrow (Sunday) morning at 10.30am to arrive at St Mary’s Church Sessiaghoneill for Mass of the resurrection at 11am. Interment afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. Donations in lieu of flowers if desired to Letterkenny General Hospital c/o Martin McGowan Funeral Director, Ceder House, Main Street, Ballybofey or any family member.
