Well done to the Senior team who had an excellent 2-13 to 2-9 win over Aodh Rua in the 2nd leg match of the Preliminary round of the Intermediate Championship on Saturday evening in Portsalon, the match will go to a decider with date and venue to be decided.

The Reserve team lost out narrowly and end their involvement in this year’s Championship. Hard luck also to the Senior Ladies who lost in their Championship match v N Muire on Sunday despite a spirited second half fightback, all in all it was a terrific season for the Ladies and they will already be looking to the challenge of 2012 with much optimism.

The forthcoming Ulster Final between Donegal and Derry in Clones on July 17th is all ticket, anyone wishing to order tickets is asked to contact Fiona Shiels by Thursday 7th, orders should be sent by text to 085 1555645.

Priority will be given to orders from club members and in the event of tickets being restricted non- members will not be accommodated by Gaeil Fhánada. No orders will be considered after Thursday 7th. Anyone wishing to attend the  Strictly Come Dancing competition being held in the Milford Inn on Friday the 29th July is asked to contact any of the dancers or the Strictly Committee as soon as possibleAll  U8’s are reminded that  training will resume on Friday 15 July at 6:30 in Portsalon,  new players welcome.

The Gaeil Fhánada  GAA Cúl Camp goes ahead from July 18th-22nd for boys and girls from 6-13 and provides a great week of sport, fun and activity.  Application forms can be down loaded from @ vhiculcamps@gaa.ie or from  Mace Kerrykeel, Shiels Fanavolty and Ballylar P.O, and co-ordinator Fiona Shiels. Forms and payment need to be returned by Friday 8th July  in order to co-ordinate numbers.Lotto: No Jackpot winner last week. Numbers drawn :  3, 10, 14, 15, & 16,  bonus no 5. €100 winner was Caoimhe Walsh, Kerrykeel,  and €50 winner was K Magee, Shore Rd, Kerrykeel. Pat Carr(The Moss), Doaghmore,  Next draw for jackpot of €2050 takes place in the Pier Bar  this weekend.All at the Club wish to extend sincere sympathy to the extended McAteer family, Doaghbeg, on the recent death of John McAteer, Doaghbeg and Burt.
