Naomh Mhuire

Under 8 training continues on Saturday mornings at 11am. The under 10s will host a blitz in the banks this Saturday starting at 11am and everybody is asked to be there for 10:30am.

The Under 12s travelled to Ardara for a friendly last week and will play Naomh Conaill this week.

The under 14s travelled to Glenswilly for a friendly last Friday and recorded a victory. Next league game is Naomh Conaill.

The under 16s are through to the semi-final of the championship after beating Kilcar on Sunday evening last. They now play Ardara for a place in the Southern final.

The minors are due to play Ardara on Wednesday July 20th.

There is a child protection course in the club-house this Wednesday evening at 7pm. This is open to all coaches and parents

The Seniors and Reserves played Burt away last weekend. The Reserves recorded a good victory as their fitness showed towards the end of the game. The Seniors came up against a determined Burt defence and were down by four points. This weekend both teams travel to Carndonagh on Saturday evening with a 5:30 and 7pm throw in.

The first outing for the club at girls u-16 level took place on Tuesday evening last away to Gweedore. Great credit to all involved in continuing to advance the ladies underage. The Ladies Junior championship semi final against Glenties has been provisionally scheduled for August 1st.

The club postponed its day trip to Gola Island and it has been rescheduled to Sunday 14th August.

Tickets for Tommy Fleming in Concert on Monday 1st August are on sale in the Cope Annagry or from Club members. These tickets make ideal birthday presents etc for what should be a great night. This concert is being jointly promoted by Naomh Mhuire and Dungloe GAA Clubs and all monies will be invested back into Club activities.

The club had approx. 90 participants in its training week last week and a great week was had by all who also received a signed football. Thanks to all coaches and organisers involved.

Lotto details for week 6th July; jackpot 2000 euro. No jackpot winner. There were 3 match 3 winners – Thomas Devenney – Rann Na Feirste. Finbar McBride – Meandoire Na Slua, Jamie Gillespie – Bothair Baile Mhanais. Numbers were 5-6-13-17.

The Naomh Mhuire Annual Gate Collection in Annagry and Kincasslagh will be this weekend the 16th and 17th July with all proceeds going to underage development in the club. Check out our club website www.naomhmhuire.ie
