It’s Monday Morning at Media Box again and for the day and month that is in it we have decided to request Mundy’s ~ July for today’s top tune. Join in and sing along at http://www.facebook.com/update_security_info.php?wizard=1#!/mediabox

It has been an exciting week of fun, fundraising and football this week! Well done to Kavanagh’s SuperValu who took a 3-1 victory over Highland Radio at Friday’s Charity Football Match in aid of the Donegal Hospice at Finn Park, Ballybofey.  6 players from each of the four Kavanagh’s SuperValu stores came together and took to the field to challenge Highland Radio for the title, with one of the 24 players disguised as a Gorilla!

The sun was shining on this worthy cause and it was a great evening out for staff, customers and community alike.

Smyth’s Daleside Feeds reached new heights last week when they climbed the 2,185 ft of Muckish Mountain in aid of the Irish Heart Foundation. Smyth’s along with the staff of their parent company, Donegal Creameries Plc., took to Muckish Mountain in hope that their climb will raise in excess of €5,000 for the Irish Heart Foundation.

Congratulations to Declan Alcorn from Milford, Co. Donegal who is this week’s lucky “Grab a Grand” winner.

Declan purchased his Gallaghers White Sliced Pan in Gormleys Centra Letterkenny and was pulled at random from this week’s draw walking away with €1000 complementary of Gallaghers Bakery. Don’t forget to keep checking your white sliced pan because you never know, this week it could be you! Also check out Gallaghers YouTube channel to hear what bread lovers throughout the county would do if they were to Grab a Grand: www.youtube.com/gallaghersbakery

Let’s Get Creative with Sprint Educational Supplies this summer to be in with a chance to win a netbook laptop. Simply logon to Sprint’s Facebook page and complete the story “A Complete Course in Algebra” in 422 characters to be in with a chance to win a brand new netbook laptop courtesy of Sprint. The competition is open to all ages and invites all individuals to dip into their imagination and share their creativity.  Entries can be posted on Facebook, emailed to sprint@indigo.ie or dropped in store to the Letterkenny or Donegal Town branches.

To conclude this week’s office activities we were inspired by random acts of happiness and shared cupcakes at teatime, because there’s always a golden moment at Media Box!

Until next week…keep running in heels! The Media Box Team X
