TODAY’S OBITUARY NOTICES – SATURDAY, JULY 16TH

HOUSTON

The death has taken place of Sean Houston, Dunwiley, Stranorlar. Beloved husband of Maureen and much loved father of Olga, Paul and John. Sadly missed by his wife, daughter, sons, brother Francis, sisters Mary, Kathleen, Josephine and Breidin, son-in-law, daughters-in-law, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, relatives and friends.Remains are reposing at his home from 6pm this Saturday evening. Funeral leaving his home at 10.30am on Monday morning for 11am Requiem Mass in St. Mary’s Church, Stranorlar. Interment afterwards in Drumboe Cemetery. Family flowers only, please. Donations in lieu to Oncology, Letterkenny General Hospital, c/o of G.McCool, Funeral Director or any family member. Family time from 11pm until 11am and on the morning of the funeral.

WALLACE

The death has taken place in Galway University Hospital of Lydia Hazel Wallace, late of Knockeen the Knock, Culdaff. Her remains will arrive tonight at the Muff border at approx 1030pm going to her late home via Carndonagh. Funeral arrangements to be confirmed later. Family flowers only or if dersired donations in lieu to the Donegal Hospice c/o Collins and McDermott Funeral Directors or any family member.

RODDEN

The death has taken place at the Donegal Hospice of Willie Rodden, Drumfinn, Termon. Removal from the hospice today (Sat) at 1 o clock going to the residence of his niece Ann McGahon, Drumfinn, Termon. Funeral Mass in St Columba’s Church, Termon at 12 o clock on Monday. Followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery. Family flowers only. Donations to the Donegal Hospice c/o Charlie McClaffety Funeral Directors, Churchill and Letterkenny

McHUGH

The death has taken place at The Donegal Hospice of Peggy McHugh Ni Bonner, Summy, Portnoo, formerly of the Dry Arch, Glenties. Her remains will leave the Donegal Hospice today (Saturday) at 3pm going to her late residence at Summy, Portnoo. Removal from there tomorrow (Sunday) at 10.30am to St Conal’s Church, Kilclooney, for 11am Requiem Mass with burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. Family flowers only, donations to the Donegal Hospice c/o any family member.

O’HAOIREACHTAIGH

The death has taken place in the Mater Hospital, Dublin of Aindeas Reamonn O’Haoireachtaigh (Ray), Ceol na Mara, Kilbeg, Kilcar and late of Pipers Rest, Kilcar. Removal from the Mater Hospital Mortuary on Monday at 1pm going to Glasnevin Crematorium. Wake on Wednesday at his late residence in Kilcar. Funeral Mass on Thursday at 11am in St Cartha’s Church, Kilcar with burial afterwards in the local cemetery.

HARVEY

The sudden death has occurred at his home of Phonsie Harvey, 15 Dr McGinley Road, Glencar, Letterkenny and formerly of Drimarone. Remains reposing at his home. Funeral from there tomorrow (Sunday) at 12noon going to St Eunan’s Cathedral for mass at12.30pm, burial afterwards in Conwal Cemetery. Family flowers only, donations if desired to The Donegal Hospice – c/o Paschal Blake Funeral Director, Stoney Arch, New Line Road, Letterkenny.

McFADDEN

The death has taken place in Letterkenny General Hospital of Manus McFadden, Glentornan, Dunlewey. His remains are reposing at his home. Funeral Mass tomorrow (Sunday) morning in the Sacred Heart Church, Dunlewey at 11.15am. Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. Family flowers only please, donations in lieu if desired to the I.C.U. Letterkenny General Hospital –c/o Kieran Roarty Funeral Director or any family member.

BOYLE

The sudden death has taken place at Sligo General Hospital of Charlie Boyle, 5 Park View, Raphoe. Remains reposing  at his home. Funeral from there tomorrow (Sunday) morning at 10.15am going to St Eunan’s Church, Raphoe for Mass at 11AM. Interment afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. Family time from 11pm to 10am.

TOURISH

The death has taken place at the Donegal Hospice of Josie Tourish, 85 Admiran Park, Stranorlar. His remains are reposing at his late residence. Funeral from there tomorrow (Sunday) morning at 10.15 for 11am  in the Church of Our Lady of Perpetual Succour, Glenfin, followed by burial in Glenfin Cemetery. Family flowers only please, donations in lieu if desired to the Donegal Hospice c/o any family member

DOHERTY

The death has taken place at the Ramelton Nursing Unit of Bernard Doherty, Ladden, Fanad. His remains are reposing at his home. Funeral from there tomorrow (Sunday) afternoon at 12.30pm going to St Mary’s Church, Fanavolty for Mass at 1PM. Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. No flowers please, donations in lieu if desired to the Comfort Fund, Ramelton Nursing Unit – c/o Eamon Scott Funeral Director or any family member.
