DONEGAL TOWN MARKET ROW: COUNCIL CONFIRMS COMPLAINT INVESTIGATED

Donegal County Council has confirmed that it is investigating a complaint made about Donegal Town’s Saturday market.

Donegaldaily.com understands the council may issue a warning to the Food and Craft Market if the complaint is upheld.

We understand a business owner in the town has made a formal complaint, arguing that some goods being sold on some stalls are in breach of council guidelines.

The council will only say that it has received a complaint contrary to the provisions of the Casual Trading Act 1995 and that the complaint is being investigated.
