Donegal have been hit with a massive blow ahead of their All Ireland quarter final appearance with the news that Dermot ‘Brick’ Molloy has been injured.
There are fears the Naomh Conaill man could be out for six weeks after he injured his knee in an Under 21 game at O’Donnell Park in Letterkenny on Tuesday.
Manager Jim McGuinness has admitted the injury is a worry for his preparations but says he will just have to keep his fingers crossed that Molloy recovers.
The Donegal boss has declined to comment on the fact that the injury was picked up in a game just 48 hours after his appearance at Clones in his team’s Ulster Final victory.
