BOMB ESCAPE: Dunlewey woman Anne Marie Foyen (nee McClafferty) escaped injury in the Oslo bomb outrage. “We thought the huge bang was a crane falling,” she said.

PEEPING MARK: Mark Cairns, of Town Parks, Convoy has been given 60 hours community service after being caught peeping through the window of a man in the town at 3.10 in the morning. Mr Cairns apologised and said he was ‘wild drunk’.

SPEEDING CURBED: The number of people being caught speeding in the county has plummeted since the introduction of GoSpeed camera vans, says Superintendent Kevin Brennan.

FIRE PROBE: Gardai are investigating a fire at a house in Long Lane, Letterkenny. A mattress was set on fire in the incident at the unoccupied property.
