OBITUARY NOTICES FOR TODAY – SATURDAY, JULY 30

HEGARTY

The death has taken place at Milford Hospice, Patrick (Pat) Hegarty, of Ennis Road Limerick and formerly of Lisnasesse, Letterkenny. Much loved husband of Phil (nee Keane, Galway), devoted Dad to Nollaig, Conor and Aongus, and grandfather to Aongus Óg and Coleman. Loving brother of Kathleen, Mary, Fr. James, John and Rosaleen. Sadly missed by his brothers-in-law, sister-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, and a large circle of friends. May He Rest In Peace Arriving to Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church, Ennis Road for Mass at 12.45pm on Sunday, 31st July. Funeral on Monday, 1st August after 11am Mass, at The Church of the Irish Martyrs, Letterkenny, followed by burial at Conwall Cemetery. Family flowers only, please. Donations, if desired, to Milford Hospice, Limerick or the Irish Cancer Society.

McGROARTY

The death has taken place of Pat McGroarty, Drumroosk, Donegal Town. At St. Joseph’s Community Hospital, Stranorlar. Reposing at  the residence of his daughter Teresa Murphy, Clar, Donegal Town. Removal on Sunday morning for 11:30am Mass in St. Patrick’s Church, Donegal Town. Burial afterwards in Clar, Cemetery. House is private please. Family flowers only please, donations in lieu if desired to St. Joseph’s Community Hospital, Stranorlar c/o Gallaghers Funeral Directors or any family member.

GALLAGHER

The death has taken place in Letterkenny General Hospital of Dominick Gallagher (Rampar), Doire-Na-Mainsear, Annagry. His remains are reposing at his late residence. Removal from there tomorrow (Sunday) at 10.30AM for Mass in Star of the Sea Church, Annagry at 11AM with burial afterwards in adjoining cemetery. House private from 11pm to 9am. Family flowers only, if desired, donations in lieu to Friends of Letterkenny General Hospital, c/o Steven O Donnell and Sons Funeral directors or any family member.

KELLY

The sudden death has occurred of Jim Kelly, the Cottage, Meenmore, Dungloe. His remains are reposing at his home. Funeral mass tomorrow (Sunday) at 11am in St Columba’s Church, Acres with interment afterwards in Belcruit cemetery. House private please from 11pm to 10am.

O’DONNELL

The death has taken place at the Donegal Hospice of Margaret O’Donnell (Jimmy Neily) Carnmore Road, Dungloe. Her remains are reposing at her daughter Margaret’s residence at Carnmore Road. Funeral on Monday morning in St Croan’s Church, Dungloe at 11AM. Burial afterwards in the adjoining Cemetery.

MEEHAN

The death has occurred at Letterkenny General Hospital of R.P. Meehan, Crievesmith, Letterkenny His remains are reposing at his late residence. Removal from there on Monday morning at 10 o’clock going to Roselawn Crematorium, Belfast, for cremation at 1.30pm. House private please from 10pm to 12 noon
