Well it’s Monday morning here at the Media Box HQ and we are looking forward to another a busy week. Last week was really full of activity for us we were run off our feet or should I say heels!

Last week it was all fun and games at Kavanagh’s SuperValu, the Buncrana and Dungloe stores hosted two successful fun days in their bid to raise €30000 for the Donegal Hospice. Both days were a massive success and they raised an impressive €2,466 towards the Hospice Campaign.

The two action packed fun days had bouncy castles, face painting, kids sport games, fun games, live music and much more it was a great day out for all ages. The Media Box team really enjoyed the day, especially Corinne who was star struck when she met Mickey and Minnie Mouse!

The next big activity in the pipeline is the Supervalu Super Heroes climb of Mount Errigal on the 21st of August. This week the Media Box team swapped our heels and dusted off our trainers and started our extreme training regime. We want to be the first to reach the top of the mountain!

Mary Dolan from Drung Co. Cavan was the lucky winner of €1,000 this week complementary of Gallaghers Bakery Grab a Grand competition. Finding her golden ticket in her White Sliced Pan bought in Dennings Co. Cavan; Mary was entered into a draw with other contenders and was randomly selected as this week’s Grab a Grand winner.

Each week Gallaghers Bakery will put 20 lucky golden tickets into their famous White Sliced Pan with one ticket holder walking away €1,000 richer. To be in with your chance to Grab a Grand pick up your Gallaghers white sliced pan from any store, enjoy the new and improved recipe and keep your fingers crossed for the lucky loaf with the golden ticket.

This week marks the launch of Smyth’s Daleside Feeds search for ‘little farmers’ aged 15 and under to star in their 2012 calendar “Growing up on the Farm”. The calendar will highlight the top class quality of Smyth’s products whilst featuring junior farmers helping out on the farm.  So if you know a little farmer who has what it takes to be Mr /Miss January, February or March then please send a picture of their best farming pose to Smyth’s Daleside Feeds: contact@smythfeeds.com.  All applications must be made by a parent/ guardian over the age of 18. For more information on Smyth’s Feeds and the 2012 Little Farmers Calendar please logon to their Facebook page at: http://www.facebook.com/smythsdalesideanimalfeeds

Our top tune for today is Eye of the Tiger by Survivor, hopefully it will get everyone in the spirit to dust off their trainers and prepare for the Super Valu climb. Please feel free to logon to http://www.facebook.com/mediabox and sing along.

Hope you enjoyed this week’s update on our office antics and keep an eye on our Facebook page to hear more. Until next week keep running in those heels! The Media Box Team X
