LETTERKENNY’S PARTY IN THE PARK HAS SOMETHING FOR EVERYONE!

Anybody in the vicinity of Letterkenny today could do a lot worse than to visit the town park near the general hospital.

Today sees the Donegal Youth Service Party in Park celebrate its 7th such event.

More than 15 acts will take to the stage in the park form 2pm right up until after 8pm.

The bands include Don’t Feed The Bassist, Jamaican Vampires, The Matthew Trainor Experience, Leila Keeney ad many more.

But as well as many top acts, there will also be plenty of other distractions to entertain what promises to be a huge crowd.

These include the Ultimate Frisbee, a tug o’ war, a penalty shoot-out and all the usual party in the park stuff like face painting.

Youth Development Officer John Ruddy said last year’s party in the park attracted more than 1,000 people and he predicts this year will be even bigger.

As well as many food vendors, people can get a slice of the action with free pizza!

This is a strict non-alcohol event and kicks off at 2pm. We’ll see you there.
