OBITUARY NOTICES FOR TODAY – SUNDAY, AUGUST 7TH

HARKIN

The death has taken place of Mary Agnes Harkin (nee McCreadie) of Coole, Cranford, Milford. Reposing at her home. Funeral from there at 10.30am tomorrow, Monday, for 11am Requiem Mass in Coole Chapel, followed by interment in Milford Cemetery.  Deeply regretted by her sons Patsy and Michael, daughters Bridie and Maureen, son-in-law, daughters-in-law, grandchildren, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

McFADDEN (GLASGOW)

The death has taken place at Victoria Infirmary, Glasgow of Mary McFadden, nee McHugh formerly of Killult, Gortahork. Remains arriving in Larne on Monday at approx 12 noon going to her late residence at Upper Keeldrum, Gortahork, arriving at approx 4pm. Funeral mass on Tuesday at 12 noon in Church of Christ the King, Gortahork with burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

BRESLIN

The death has taken place at Altnagelvin Hospital of David Breslin, 12 Ballynagard Crescent, Culmore, Derry. Funeral from his home 12 Ballynagard Crescent, Culmore tomorrow, Monday, at 10.20am for 11am Requiem Mass in Sacred Heart Church, Muff. Interment afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

DOOGAN

The death has taken place in the Nursing Unit, Falcarragh of Joe Doogan, Ballynass, Falcarragh. Remains reposing at his late residence. Funeral Mass tomorrow (Monday) at 12 noon in St Finian’s Church, Falcarragh. Interment afterwards in the adjoining Cemetery

MULHERN

The death has taken place at Letterkenny General Hospital of Micky Mulhern, Carrowreagh, Bridgend. Remains will be leaving the Chapel of Rest, Letterkenny Hospital at 6pm this evening (Sunday) going to his late residence. Funeral from there on Tuesday morning at 10am going to St Mary’s Church, Cockhill, for Requiem Mass at  11am. Interment afterwards in the adjoining Cemetery

GORMLEY

The death has occurred of Josephine Gormley, Erne Street Ballyshannon. Peacefully at Sligo General Hospital. Reposing at the Sheil Hospital Mortuary with removal today, Sunday, at 6.30pm going to St. Patrick’s Church for 7pm. Funeral Mass tomorrow, Monday, at 12noon with internment in the Abbey Assaroe Cemetery. Family flowers only donations in lieu if so desired to the Sheil Hospital Patient Comfort fund c/o Patrick McKenna & Paddy Fox Funeral Directors Ballyshannon. House private please.

BEATTIE

The death has taken place of Ronnie Beattie, Craig’s Road, Raphoe. Reposing at his residence. Funeral from there today, Sunday, going to St Eunan’s Cathedral for Service at 3.30pm. Burial afterwards in the adjoining graveyard. Family flowers only, please. Donations in lieu to The Donegal Hospice. House private, please.
