Club Notes – Naomh Adhamhnáin – 08.08.11
The Seniors staged a late fightback to force a replay in their SF Championship quarter final with neighbours Glenswilly. After a good first half the lads were on the back foot for a lot of the second half but showed great spirit after being reduced to 14 men to get the last two points of the game. They will hope to be much stronger with a few players to return from the USA for the replay.
The Reserves finally progressed to a quarter final meeting with Naomh Conaill after defeating Dungloe in their first round play-off. Minor star Lee McMonagle finished superbly for the all important goal midway through the second half as the lads won by 1-06 to 0-06.
The Junior men are still awaiting a decision on Downings’ no show for their play-off match two week’s ago from the CCC. They will hope to have a game of some kind this weekend!
The Senior Ladies got back among the silverware after their victory over Termon last week clinched the 13-a-side League title. It is just reward to Suzi, Alan, Gabriel and others that have put a lot of hard work into the Ladies game at the club in recent years.

Well done Conor O’Grady and Caoimhin Lennon who represented the club in the County U14 Hurling team playing for the first time in Division 1 of the Ulster Feile recording wins over Down and Armagh, losing by the minimum to Derry & Laois and putting in good competitive performances against Antrim and Meath.
