Team News

It was exciting week on the team from at Portsalon Golf Club. On Tuesday last club Captain Donal Callaghan led his team into the first leg of the over 50’s semi final against Ballybofey and recorded a three and half match to Ballybofey’s one and half matches win. The return leg will take place shortly and the match hangs in the balance. On Thursday last John Logue led his team to Ballyliffen for the return leg of the Donegal League semi final. Going into the match John’s team led by four and half matches to Ballyliffens half match. The Portsalon team progressed to the final with the opening team of John Shields and Stephen Connolly winning on the 17th hole. The final opposition will be either Rosapenna or Buncrana golf clubs. The Portsalon team entertained Ballybofey and with the Portsalon team leading by four matches to three it will leave the return leg difficult for the Kingdom team to progress.
