OBITUARY NOTICES FOR TODAY – THURSDAY, AUGUST 11

GALLAGHER (USA)

The death has taken place in Philadelphia, USA of Joe Gallagher, formerly of Cranford Removal from the Eternal Light Chapel of Rest, Letterkenny tomorrow (Friday) at 4pm going to his sister Mary Duffy’s residence at Glencheo, Carrigart to repose overnight. Funeral on Saturday morning to Coole Chapel for 11am Requiem Mass, followed by interment in Milford Cemetery

GALLAGHER

The death has taken place of Brid Gallagher (nee Boyle) Corr Point, Lettermacaward. Remains are reposing at her home. Funeral mass on Saturday at 12 noon in St Crona’s Church with private cremation afterwards in Dublin. Family time from 11pm to 10am and on the morning of the funeral. Family flowers only, donations if desired to The Donegal Hospice – c/o Shaun McGlynn, Funeral Director of any family member.

SARSFIELD

The death has taken place in Dublin of Alice Sarsfield, Ballinteer, Dublin and formerly of Mountcharles and Milford. Her remains will arrive at St Peters Church, Milford tomorrow (Friday) afternoon at 4 o clock to repose overnight. Requiem Mass on Saturday at 12 noon followed by interment in Milford Cemetery.

McCOLGAN

The death has taken place at the Community Nursing Unit Buncrana, of Jeanie McColgan. Removal from the Community Nursing Unit this afternoon (Thursday) at 4pm going to her residence Westend, Buncrana. Funeral from there at 9.30am on Saturday going to St Mary’s Oratory for 10AM Requiem Mass with burial afterwards in Cockhill cemetery. Family flowers only, donations in lieu to Buncrana Community nursing unit.

MAXWELL

The death has taken place of Billy Maxwell, 9 Church View, Six Mile Bridge, County Clare, formerly of Ardara, Co Donegal. His remains will repose at his late residence between 5pm and 8pm today (Thursday). Removal from there tomorrow (Friday) morning for 11AM Requiem Mass in Six Mile Bridge Parish Church, followed by burial in Killeen Cemetery.
