Anthony Stokes’s fourth-minute header was cancelled out by Johnny Russell on the half hour with a close-range strike at the back post.
Gary Hooper’s header gave Celtic a half-time advantage, before a superb second-half strike from Ki Sung-Yeung.
A 71st-minute Joe Ledley tap-in and a well-worked injury-time effort from James Forrest secured all three points.
