The death has taken place at Sligo General Hospital of Nan McGurrin, nee Sweeney, 19 Magheraboy Estate, Sligo, and formerly of ‘The Fingerpost’, Illistrin, Letterkenny. Her remains will repose at Foley and Mc Gowan Funeral Home in Sligo from 5.30PM tomorrow (Sunday), with removal from there to Sligo Cathedral at 7.30pm, arriving at approximately 8pm. Requiem mass on Monday at 1pm, followed by burial in Sligo Cemetery. The house is private please.
BIRSTINA
The death has occurred of Avie Birstina, 2 Oak Leaf Terrace, Convoy formerly Latvia. Funeral service at Kelly’s Funeral Home, Oakfield, Raphoe this afternoon (Saturday) at 1pm, with burial afterwards in St Ninian’s Graveyard, Convoy.
McDAID
The death has taken place in The Nazareth House, Fahan of Mary Joe McDaid, 7 St Bodan’s Terrace, Culdaff. Remains reposing at her home. Funeral leaving her residence tomorrow (Sunday) at 10am to St Patrick’s Church, Aughaclay, Malin for funeral Mass at 10.30am, with interment afterwards in adjoining cemetery.
WHITE
The death has taken place at his home of Ralph White, Upper Annaugh, Clonmany. His remains are reposing at the Oratory in St Colmcille Village, Clonmany. Removal from there on Sunday morning for 11.30 Requiem Mass in St Mary’s Church, Clonmany. Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. Family flowers only, donations in lieu to The Donegal Hospice and Irish Cancer Society – c/o any family member.
STEVENSON
The sudden death has taken place of Teresa Stevenson, New Cottages, Doochary. Her remains are reposing at McGlynn’s Funeral Home, Chapel Road, Dungloe. Removal this (Saturday) evening going to St Crona’s Church, Dungloe for 8pm. Funeral Mass tomorrow (Sunday) at 12 noon with burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.
