OBITUARY NOTICES – SATURDAY, AUGUST 20TH

McGONAGLE

The death has taken place of Rose McGonagle, Grove Cottages, Muff. Funeral from her home on Monday at 10.25am for Requiem Mass in the Sacred Heart Church, Muff at 11am. Interment afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

GALLAGHER

The death has occurred at Letterkenny General Hospital of May Gallagher, nee Wilkie, Trimagh, Letterkenny. Removal from the Letterkenny General Hospital Chapel of Rest today at 3pm going to the family residence. Family flowers only please, donations in lieu if desired to Surgical One, Letterkenny General Hospital – c/o Con McDaid, Oldtown, Letterkenny.

GLYNN

The death has occurred at Killybegs Community Hospital of Maggie Glynn, Ard Patrick, Glenties. Her remains are reposing at her son Michael’s home at Lough Crillan Road, Glenties. Removal from there today at 6.45pm to arrive at St Connel’s Church, Glenties at 7pm to repose overnight. Funeral mass tomorrow (Sunday) at 11am with burial afterwards in the local cemetery. Family flowers only please, donations in lieu if desired to the Killybegs Community Hospital – c/o James McGuiness, Funeral Directors or any family member.

GILLEN

The death has taken place at Letterkenny General Hospital of Rose Gillen (nee McLaughlin) late of 6 Wood Kerns, Malin Road, Moville. ROSE LATE OF DUBLIN LOVING WIFE OF THE LATE JAMES AND DEARLY LOVED MOTHER OF NOREEN, SUSAN, MARY, GERRY, ROISIN AND PATRICK, SADLY MISSED BY HER FAMILY OF 21 GRANDCHILDREN AND 6 GREAT GRANDCHILDREN SONS IN LAW AND DAUGHTERS IN LAW, SISTERS BESSIE, MAGGIE, AND SR. BRIGID O. P. AND SUSAN. Removal from the hospital Chapel of Rest today at 5pm going to her home. Funeral from there on Monday at 10.15 for Requiem Mass in St Mary’s Church, Bocan, Culdaff at 11am. Burial afterwards in Ballinacrea Cemetery.

McGONAGLE

The death has taken place at the Donegal Hospice of Nora Mc Gonagle, Cloghglass. Remains reposing at her late residence. Funeral mass tomorrow (Sunday) morning at 11am in St Columba’s Church, Acres, with interment afterwards in Belcruit Cemetery. House private please from 11pm to 11am. Family flowers only please, donations in lieu if desired to the Oncology unit, Letterkenny General Hospital and the Donegal Hospice, c/o Shaun Mc Glynn, or any family member.

McNEALIS

The death has been announced of Jamie McNealis, Austel Mara, Cashel, Glencolmcille. Formerly of Bellad, Glencolmcille. At Letterkenny General Hospital. Funeral arrangements to be announced later.
