OBITUARY NOTICES FOR TODAY – TUESDAY, AUGUST 23RD

GALLAGHER

The death has taken place at Killybegs Community Hospital of Annie Gallagher, Westend, Ardara. Removal from there at 1pm today, going to number 10 Shannon House, Ardara. Funeral from there on Thursday at 10.30am going to the Church of the Holy Family, Ardara for Requiem Mass at 11am, followed by interment in the adjoining Cemetery.

McGLINCHEY

The death has occurred at the Harbour Lights Nursing Home, Killybegs of Denis McGlinchey, formerly of Drumarone & Carrigclava, Ardara. Removal from the nursing home today at 4pm going to the Church of The Holy Redeemer, Drumarone for 5pm. Funeral mass at 11am tomorrow, Wednesday, with burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. House private please.

GREEN (GLASGOW)

The sad death has taken place in Glasgow of Frances Green (Jimmy Hudi) formerly of Ranafast. Her remains will arrive at Larne Harbour today at 12 noon going to her late residence, Jimmy Hudi’s in Ranafast, to arrive at approx 4pm. Removal from there tomorrow, Wed, at 10.30am for 11am Requiem Mass in Star of the Sea Church, Annagry, followed by interment in the adjoining cemetery. House private from midnight to 9am.

O’DONNELL

The death has taken place at her residence of Anna Clarke O’Donnell, Creeslough. Funeral mass in St Michael’s Church, Creeslough tomorrow Wednesday, at 11AM, followed by interment in Doe Cemetery.

McINTYRE

The death has taken place at the Donegal Hospice of Patrick Mc Intyre, Derryherriff, Creeslough. Remains are reposing at his late residence. Funeral Mass in St Michael’s Church, Creeslough tomorrow Wednesday at 2pm, followed by interment in Doe Cemetery. Family flowers only please.  Donations if desired to Donegal Hospice c/o Seamus Harkin Funeral Director or any Family member.

LIKELY

The death has taken place at Donegal Hospice of James Likely, Driminnin, Barnesmore, Donegal and formerly of The Knather, Ballyshannon. His remains are reposing at his late residence. Funeral from tomorrow, Wednesday, at 11.30am going to St Agatha’s Church, Clar for Requiem Mass at 12 noon. Interment afterwards in the Abbey Assaroe Cemetery, Ballyshannon. Family flowers only, Donations in lieu if desired to the Donegal Hospice c/o Patrick McKenna and Paddy Fox Funeral Directors, Ballyshannon. House strictly private please, apart from family and close friends.
