The young man killed when he fell from a roof in Bundoran was on a dream surfing holiday.

Dubliner Joe Olwill, 17 died when he fell from a three storey apartment block in the early hours of yesterday morning.

Joe, from Santry, was about to go into sixth year in secondary school.

It is believed Joe may have been locked out of the apartments where he was staying and he was trying to get back in.

However a local source say he may have slipped on wet tiles and fell to his death.

His father Patrick, a civil servant and his mum Anne travelled to Bundoran yesterday to bring home their tragic son.
