A unique opportunity for businesses to grasp and market their products and services through the internet is to take place in Letterkenny.

The local Chamber has joined forces with Donegal County Enterprise Board to host The Digital Leadership Road show.

This free workshop taking place on 14th September at 8.30am in CoLab, LYIT will cover digital strategy, channel selection, key performance indicators, customer behaviour and top management tips.

The two hour workshop is aimed at anyone who manages or runs a business as well as PR professionals, web agencies and anyone who is interested in really driving their business forward.

The road show that is touring the country was created and delivered by iON to highlight the role of management in creating an effective digital marketing plan and to enthuse business owners and managers by presenting them with cutting edge advice by one of Ireland’s top Digital Thought Leaders.

The Road show will be presented by Niall McKeown, Commercial Director and founder of iON.

Niall has been an internet entrepreneur for over a decade, He has extensive experience in digital marketing strategies, sales, business growth, new product development and new technologies.

His business has grown from a small email marketing company to an organisation with customers in 15 countries. As well as small businesses iON also consults with major Irish and worldwide brands.

“Niall has been a regular presenter during our Enterprise Week ” says Michael Tunney, CEO of the Donegal County Enterprise Board.

“He always leaves our clients feeling empowered and brimming with ideas. He is inspiring and motivational and leaves managers and business owners with the enthusiasm and knowledge to make digital marketing work for their business. We are delighted to have the opportunity to work with Letterkenny Chamber in bringing this road show to Donegal”.

“This is an excellent opportunity for businesses in Donegal to understand their digital strategy.

“Locally we have some great examples of businesses really embracing the opportunities offered by a digital strategy and there is a real appetite to learn more.

“At the event we will be launching Donegal Digital Skillnet that will deliver subsidized training to help Donegal Companies boost sales through their digital marketing strategies.

“Through upskilling in digital marketing tools, businesses who have traditionally operated in the local market will be able to take their space in the online business world,” she said.
