OBITUARY NOTICES FOR THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 1, 2011

GORMAN

The death has taken place of Patrick Gorman, Ballinakillew, Laghey, Co. Donegal. At the Sheil Hospital Ballyshannon.  Removal from his residence on Friday for 11am mass at St. Brigid’s Church, Ballintra, with burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.  Family flowers only, donations in lieu to the Sheil Hospital Patients’ Comfort Fund, c/o any family member.

MCDAID

The death has taken place at the Donegal Hospice, Letterkenny of Betty McDaid, Cottage Bar, Lower Main Street, Buncrana. Her remains are reposing at her late residence.

Funeral from there on Sunday at 1.30pm for funeral Mass in St Mary’s Oratory, Buncrana at 2pm, followed by burial in Cockhill Cemetery. Family flowers only please – Donations in lieu if desired to the Donegal Hospice  c/o any family member.

O’DONNELL

The death has taken place at the Donegal Hospice of Joe O’Donnell, Maramellan, Dungloe. His remains are reposing at his own house. Funeral mass tomorrow, Friday, at 11am in Meenacross Church with burial afterwards in Maghery cemetery.

MCGONAGLE

The death has taken place at Letterkenny General Hospital of Philomena Mc Gonagle, Roadside, Cloontagh, Clonmany. Remains reposing at her late residence. Funeral from her late residence on Saturday for Requiem mass at 11am. Burial in the adjoining graveyard. Family flowers only, donations in lieu to the St Colmcille Village, Clonmany c/o any family member. House private please from 11pm to 10am.

BOYCE

The death has taken place of Mary Boyce, Drumnaskea, Ballymaleel, Letterkenny. Her remains are reposing at her late residence. Requiem Mass tomorrow morning  at 11am in St Mary’s Church, Ramelton, followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery. Family flowers only please, donations in lieu if desired to the Donegal Hospice c/o the Boyce family.

Family time please from 11pm to 10am.
