DONEGAL DEATH NOTICES FOR SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 3, 2011

DOHERTY

The death has taken place of Leo Doherty, The Rock, Bundoran, Co. Donegal. Peacefully at Sligo General Hospital. Removal from the Sheil Hospital, Ballyshannon at 6:15pm on Sunday evening to arrive at the Church of Our Lady Star of the Sea, Bundoran for 7pm. Funeral on Monday following 11am Mass. Interment afterwards in Finner Cemetery, Bundoran.Family flowers only please, donations in lieu to the North West Hospice c/o John Mulreany Funeral Director or any family member.

O’DONNELL

The death has taken place of Kevin Columba O’Donnell, Foxrock, Dublin and formerly Lifford and Burtonport. His remains are reposing at his home. Removal from there on Monday morning for funeral Mass in Our Lady of Perpetual Succour, Foxrock at 10AM. Burial afterwards in Shanganagh Vale Cemetery. Family flowers only.

DOHERTY

The death has taken place at the Donegal Hospice, Letterkenny of Brian Doherty, The Diamond, Carndonagh. His remains are reposing at his home. Removal from there on Sunday at 10.30am going to the Sacred Heart, Church, Carndonagh for Requiem Mass at 11am. Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. House private please from 11pm to 10am.

O’REILLY

The sudden death has taken place in Rathmullan of Terence O’Reilly, Omagh and Rathmullan. His remains will arrive at St Joseph’s Church, Rathmullan tomorrow, Sunday, at 7.15pm to repose overnight. Requiem <ass on Monday at 12 noon, followed by interment in Rathmullan Cemetery. Family flowers only, the house is private please.

PATTON (USA/CONVOY)

The sudden death has taken place in the U.S. of Kieran Patton, formerly of Letterkenny Road, Convoy. His remains will repose at the family home from 6PM this evening. Removal from there to St. Mary’s Church, Convoy tomorrow (Sunday) at 11am to repose. Funeral Mass on Monday at 11am, followed by interment in the Old Cemetery, Convoy.

GALLAGHER

The death has taken place at Letterkenny General Hospital of John ‘Nelly’ Gallagher, Carnamaddy, Dunfanaghy. His remains are reposing at his home. Funeral Mass in St Michael’s Church, Creeslough tomorrow SUNDAY at 11am, followed by burial in Doe Cemetery.

GALLAGHER

The death has taken place of Michael Gallagher, 30 Staid na Mara, Strandhill Road, Sligo and formerly of Pettigo, Co Donegal. Remains will repose at the family home in Sligo on Sunday from 4pm until 6pm. House private at all other times. Mass of the Resurrection on Monday morning in the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception,Sligo at 11.30am. Burial afterwards in St Patrick’s Cemetery, Sarden, Strandhill Road. Family flowers only please, donations in lieu if desired to North West Hospice Fund – c/o Feehily’s Funeral Home, Carton Cross, Sligo.
