GAA: GLENSWILLY NOTES

The lotto numbers for 28th August were 15,17,19,24 match 2 winner was Ollie Fitzpatrick, Bomany. The lotto numbers for this week were 1,7,8,12 match 3 winner was Kate Flanagan Dunboyne.Next weeks jackpot is €2,740.

Sellers this weekend are Micky Mc Hugh and Tommy Simmons.

The seniors had a big win against neighbours St Eunans in the quarter final replay in mc cool park on sunday, scoreline was 1-09 to 0-08, the semi final is against Kilcar this sunday the 11th @ 5.30pm in McCumhaill Park.

The Glen will be hosting a ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ in the winter. Training will commence early September. We are currently looking for participants, any persons interested can contact Hughie McDaid (086 8033856) or Mary C Devine (087 6539050).

Louise, Mary and Karen want to thank all those who helped at the recent summercamp, the camp was a great success and we would also like to thank Michael Murphy who took time out of his busy schedule to call with the cup! Thanks also to Shay and the club for their assistance.

The 3rds are playing Robert Emmets in the 2nd leg of the championship in Castlefinn on tue 6th at 7pm.

The next monthly meeting will take place on Monday the 12th at 8.15pm
