Well done to both our reserve and senior teams, who enjoyed comprehensive victories over Milford in Páirc na nGael on Saturday evening. We now progress to the Intermediate Championship semi-final, where we meet Naomh Colmcille. This game will take place on the weekend of September 24th/25th – time and venue to be confirmed. The teams will not be in action this weekend. Underage matters: our minors failed to overcome Four Masters on Friday evening last, losing out narrowly, with only a point between the teams at the final whistle. This championship first leg now goes to a play-off, set for Fintra this Friday evening, September 16th, at 6.30pm. Please come along and support the lads. Our under 13s got off to a good start at the weekend, with a win in Dunkineely on Saturday morning. Training takes place on Monday evenings at 6pm. At the time of going to press their next outing was due to be away to Naomh Bríd on Wednesday evening. We have been requested to start compiling information for the 2011 county yearbook, which will be launched at county convention.
