DONEGAL DEATH NOTICES FOR WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 14, 2011

BROWN

The death has taken place of Liam Brown, 2 Clareden Drive, Donegal Town, at Donegal Hospital.  Remains reposing at his residence from 4pm today.  Removal from there at 10.30 am on Friday to St Patrick’s Church, Donegal Town, for 11am Requiem Mass.  Burial afterwards in Clar Cemetery.  House Private please from 11pm to 9am and on the morning of the funeral.  Family flowers only.  Donations in lieu, if desired, to the Hospice Unit at Donegal Hospital.

RYAN

The death has taken place at Dungloe District Hospital of Liam Ryan, Loughanure, Annagry. Removal from McGlynn’s Funeral Home, Chapel Road, Dungloe today at 5pm, going to his late residence. Funeral mass on Friday at 11am in Star of the Sea Church, Annagry, followed by interment in the new graveyard. House private please from 10pm to 10am. Donations in lieu of flowers if desired to the North West Cancer Group, c/o Shaun Mc Glynn Funeral Director or any family member.

DAWSON

The death has taken place of Bill Dawson, 19 Ardmagill, Glenties. His remains will repose at his son Paul Dawson’s residence at Stracastle, Glenties from 12 noon today (Wednesday). Funeral arrangements to be confirmed later. Family time please from 10pm to 10am. Family flowers only please, donations in lieu if desired to Medical Two Ward, Letterkenny General Hospital c/o any family member.

LOGUE

The death has taken place at Letterkenny General Hospital of Bridget Logue, late of Buncrana Nursing Unit, and formerly of Ballylawn, Redcastle. Her remains will arrive at St Columba’s Church, Drung, on Thursday at 6pm to repose overnight. Requiem Mass on Friday morning at 11am, followed by interment in the adjoining Cemetery. Family flowers only please. Donations in lieu if desired to the Patients’ Comfort Fund, Letterkenny General Hospital c/o Collins & Mc Dermot Funeral Director or any Family member.

LOUGHREY

The death has taken place at his residence of John Loughrey, Drumhalla, Rathmullan. Remains reposing at his late residence.

Removal from there today at 6.40pm arriving at St Catherine’s Church, Oughterlinn at 7pm to repose overnight. Requiem Mass tomorrow, Thursday, at 12 noon, followed by interment in Rathmullan Cemetery.

DOLAN

The sudden death has taken place in Bournemouth, England of Dr Francis Dolan, son of Anthony and Margaret Dolan, Kilcadden, Crossroads, Killygordan and formerly of Bridgetown, Laghey. His remains will repose at the family home from 11am Thursday. Funeral from there on Saturday morning at 10.30am for 11am Requiem Mass in St Patrick’s Church, Crossroads, Killygordon, followed by interment in the adjoining cemetery. Family flowers only please, donations in lieu if desired to Our Lady’s Hospitasl for Sick Children, Crumlin, Dublin c/o Charles Lynch Funeral Director, 81 Main St, Castlederg.
