A Donegal man is cycling from England to West Donegal this weekend in aid of a very worthy cause.

John (Annie) Devenney, formerly of Ranafast, is cycling from Manchester to arriving in Annagry on Saturday (time to be confirmed).

John is undertaking the cycle to raise funds for his young niece Annie who was born premature and who suffers with a condition called PVL which is similar to Cerebral Palsy.

Young Annie needs special treatment and attends the Pace Centre, a charity which does great work.

John is cycling to raise funds for the Pace centre charity.

The Errigal cycle club are going to support him in the last stage of the cycle home.

Everyone is asked to come out and greet John on his arrival in Annagry and donate a few euro where possible.

Sponsorship sheets are available locally and donations can also be given to young Annie’s granny, Annie Mhici Jimmy in Ranafast or her aunt Siubhan Annie.
