DEATH NOTICES FOR TODAY, THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 15TH

DAWSON

The death has taken place of Bill Dawson, 19 Ardmagill, Glenties.

His remains are reposing at his son Paul Dawson’s residence at Stracastle.

Funeral on Saturday at Roselawn Crematorium in Belfast, with service at 9.30 followed by cremation.

DOHERTY

The death has taken place of Edward ‘Ned’ Doherty, Cashnacor, Buncrana.

Removal from the Chapel of Rest at Letterkenny General Hospital this (Thurs) afternoon at 4pm, going to his brother Niall’s residence at 40 Burwood, Magherinture, Buncrana.

Funeral on Saturday morning at 9.50, going to St Mary’s Church, Cockhill for requiem mass at 10.30, followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery.

BONNER

The sudden death has occurred of John Bonner, Burtonport.

His remains are reposing at his late residence.

Funeral mass tomorrow (Fri) afternoon in St Columba’s Church, Acres at 2 o’clock with burial afterwards in Belcruit Cemetery.

Donations in lieu of flowers to Melmount Manor Community Care – c/o Quigley’s Funeral Directors, 1A Newtown Place, Strabane.

BROWN

The death has taken place at Donegal Hospital of Liam Brown, 2 Clareeden Drive, Donegal Town.

Remains are reposing at his home.

Removal from there tomorrow Friday morning at 10.30 to St Patrick’s Church, Donegal Town for Requiem Mass at 11 o’clock.

Burial afterwards in Clar Cemetery.

House private please from 11pm to 9am and on the morning of the funeral.

Family flowers only, donations in lieu if desired to The Hospice Unit, Donegal Town.

RYAN

The death has taken place at Dungloe District Hospital of Liam Ryan, Loughanure, Annagry.

His remains are reposing at his home.

Funeral mass tomorrow (Fri) morning at 11 o’clock in Star of the Sea Church, Annagry, followed by interment in the new graveyard.
