DONEGAL DEATH NOTICES FOR SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 18, 2011

HIGGINS

The death has taken place September 18th.2011 at St James`s Hospital, Dublin of Rena Higgins nee Mc Menamin (aged 71 years) 10 Beechwood Avenue, Letterkenny and formerly New Row, Porthall. Removal from Quigley`s Funeral Home, Strabane on Monday at 2p.m.to her home. Funeral leaving her home on Wednesday at 8.45a.m.for Requiem Mass in St Patrick’s Church, Murlog, Lifford at 10a.m. Interment afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. HOUSE PRIVATE PLEASE. Family flowers only please. Donations in lieu to the Coronary Care Unit, Letterkenny Hospital c/o 1A Newtown Place, Strabane. Beloved wife of the late Sean, much loved mother of Thomas, Helen, Gerard, Sean and Katrina and sister of the late Patrick and John.

FATHER PADRAIG O’FITCHILL

The death has taken place of  tAthair  Padraig O’Fithcill known as Fr. Fell. Drumbarron, Frosses, Co. Donegal. At St. Vincent’s Hospital Dublin. Removal from St. Vincent’s Hospital at 5pm on Monday to St. John’s Church Dun Laoghaire. Funeral Mass at 10am on Tuesday with burial afterwards t 5pm in Killymard Cemetery Donegal Town. McMANUS

THE death has taken place of Gerald McManus, 14 Tullan Strand road Bundoran and late of Gerry Mac’s bar Enniskillen. Reposing at his residence until removal this evening at 6pm to arrive at the Church of Immaculate conception (Star of the Sea) Bundoran for 7pm. Funeral mass on Monday at 1pm, interment in Cross cemetery Enniskillen at approx 3.30 pm.

FRIEL

The death has occurred at her residence of Katherine Friel, Gortnatragh, Fanad. Remains reposing at her late residence. Removal from there  on Tuesday at 10.30am going to St Mary’s Church, Fanavolty for Requiem Mass at 11am. Interment afterwards in the adjoining Cemetery

BOURNE

The sudden death has taken place at Letterkenny General Hospital of Charlie Bourne, Ard O’Donnell, Letterkenny. Remains are reposing at his residence. Funeral from there on Tuesday at 10.15am for 11am Mass in the Church of the Irish Martyrs, Letterkenny. Interment afterwards in Drumkeen Cemetery

O’DONNELL

The death has occurred in Dungloe District Hospital, of Neil Gerard O Donnell, Quay Rd, Dungloe. His remains are reposing at his late residence. Funeral Mass tomorrow, Monday, in St Cronas Church, Dungloe at 11am with burial afterwards in the adjoining Cemetery

MARTIN

The death has taken place in the Lake House Port Na Bla, of Eddie Martin formerly of Glen, Carrigart. Removal from this evening at 5.30pm,  going to Carrigart Chapel to repose overnight. Funeral Mass on Monday at 11am with burial in Milford Graveyard.
