A CREDITORS’ meeting has been called for one of Buncrana’s most famous companies – the Clubman Omega Limited.

The Lisfannon-based business once employed hundreds of local people.

Now a creditors meeting has been called for October 7th at the Inishowen Gateway Hotel in the town.

A number of local people as well as businessmen from Ballina, Co Mayo and Bearna, Co Galway, are listed as directors.

We understand that when the last accounts were filed, the company had more than €640,000 cash. However it has creditors who are owed more than €1.6M, and €440,000 is owed to the Revenue Commissioners.
