DONEGAL DEATH NOTICES FOR SUNDAY, OCTOBER 2, 2011

GIBSON

The death has taken place at the Donegal Hospice of Joe Gibson, 260 The Cottages, Manorcunningham. His remains are reposing at his late residence. Removal from there on Tuesday morning at 10.15am for 11am Requiem Mass in St Columba’s Church, Drumoghill, followed by interment in the adjoining cemetery. Family time please from 11pm to 10am. Family flowers only please – Donations in lieu if desired to the Donegal Hospice c/o the Gibson Family.

BONNER (DUBLIN)

The death has occurred in Dublin of Brendan Bonner, Chapelizod, Dublin, and formerly of Gortahork. His remains will repose at his late residence in Dublin from 3PM Monday and on to the Church of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Chapelizod, arriving at 6pm. Funeral on Tuesday morning, with Requiem Mass at 10am, followed by burial in Palmerstown Cemetery. Family flowers only please, donations in lieu if desired to Our Lady’s Hospice, Harold’s Cross.

McHUGH

The death has taken place of Jim Mc Hugh, Bavin, Kilcar. His remains are reposing at his late residence. Removal from there on Tuesday at 10.30am, for 11am Requiem Mass in St Cartha’s Church, Kilcar, followed by interment in the adjoining cemetery. Family flowers only please, donations in lieu if desired to ICU, Letterkenny General Hospital or the Alzheimer’s Association, c/o John Carr Funeral Director, or any family member.

O’BRIEN

The death has taken place at Letterkenny General Hospital of Gracie O’Brien, Ardsbeg, Gortahork. Her remains are reposing at her late residence. Funeral mass on Tuesday at 1pm in the Church of Christ the King, Gotahork, followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery.

McGIRR

The death has taken place at Altnagelvin Hospital of Thomas Mc Girr, 45 Lawson Park, Ballymagorry, and formerly of St Johnston. Funeral from his late residence tomorrow, Monday, at 1.30pm for service at Leckpatrick Presbyterian Church at 2pm, followed by burial in the adjoining churchyard. Family flowers only please – Donations in lieu if desired to Ward 44, Altnagelvin Hospital c/o Mrs Ruth Hay, Funeral Director, 100 Spencer Road, Derry.

McGETTIGAN

The sudden death has taken place of Paul Mc Gettigan, Main Street, Milford. His remains are reposing at his late residence at Lough Fern Heights, Milford. Requiem mass tomorrow, Monday at 11am in St Peter’s Church, Milford, followed by burial in Milford Cemetery. Family time please from 11pm to 10am.
