Donegaldaily.com readers have contacted us to say there is sleet close to the entrance of Glenveagh National Park stretching back to Dunlewey.
There were also very high winds reported in Gaoth Dobhair.
The readers told us “It was freezing when I was traveling over to Letterkenny this morning from Gaoth Dobhair.
“But I couldn’t believe it when we were driving past the gates of Glenveagha nd the side of the road was white. It was covered in sleet.”
The county is currently being battered and bruised by high winds, hail and driving rain from ex-hurricane Ophelia.
