Presidential poll-topper Michael D Higgins is to visit Donegal this Friday.
The Labour Party candidate will be at Letterkeny’s An Grianan Theatre at 9.30am and then attend a number of other engagements.
He will also travel to Inishowen as part of his visit to the county.
Mr Higgins said he has always regarded Donegal as one of Ireland’s most unspoiled counties and always looked forward to his visits here.
