The Sunday competition on the 9th October was won by Johnny Sweeney 8 with 42 pts.

Well done to Vlad Bautris who won the 2011 Singles Matchpla beating Tommy Ferguson 5&4 in the final last Saturday.

Congratulations to the Gaeltacht League team who beat Cruit Island at home last Saturday 8.5 – 1.5 on the Sandy Hills Links in the first outing of the season. The four ball better ball was won by Peadar Boyce & Denis McBride with 40 pts, runners up were Joe McHugh & Jody McHugh with 37 pts bot. Third place was Seamus Connor & Mick Gallagher with 37 pts bot.

The Generations Cup presented by Lady Captain Mary Devlin will take place on Saturday 15th October on the Old Tom Morris Links.

This is made up of a Junior member (Under 18) and a full adult member playing greensomes format.

The presentation will take place on Saturday evening with the outstanding prizes for all the junior competitions since open week.

Members must book a tee time on a Saturday & Sunday to avoid disappointment and to allow the first tee to operate efficiently.

Cutting in at the 10th tee on the Old Links is strictly not permitted at any time at weekends.

Tee times can be booked via the Pavilion Golf Shop between 8am & 4pm everyday.

The Sandy Hills Links is strictly green fee only and all players must check in with the Pavilion Golf Shop before play.

The Pavilion Restaurant is open every Saturday & Sunday night.

A new Sunday night set menu will be available from this Sunday from 4.30pm – 8.00pm with two courses for 20e, three courses for 25e.

The Centenary Cup (aggregate score any combination Ladies/Gents) will take place on the Old Tom Morris Links this Sunday 16th of October.

The Gents Seiko competition will take place on the Old Tom Morris Links on Saturday the 29th of October.

The Gents Captains Weekend to Ballyliffin G.C will take place on Saturday 19th & Sunday 20th of November. Further details to follow.

PGA Professional Noel Callan is available for lessons at the Rosapenna Practice Ground every Thursday and selected other days by appointment, all enquires can be made by contacting Noel directly on 0044 7789 157654.
