RACHEL TO FULFILL HER DREAM ON THE CATWALK!

It may be just one of the many fashion shows which take pace across Donegal each week.

But for one young girl, the Newtowncunningham Community Development Initiative’s annual charity event tonight in the Mt Errigal Hotel Letterkenny will be a very special one.

Thirteen year old Rachel Doherty from Porthall, Lifford is delighted to have the opportunity to model at this event and modelling has always been a dream of her’s. She can’t wait for the night to arrive and is both nervous and excited. The Deele College student also has a condition known as Muscular Dystrophy.

There is no cure for muscular dystrophy but there have been huge advances in increasing the quality of life for people with the condition and scientists around the world are working hard to develop new treatments.

Rachel is a determined and inspiring young lady and enjoys life to the full despite her condition.

Rachel was recently asked if she could make 3 wishes what would they be and one wish at the forefront of her mind was to be a model and NCDI are thrilled to have Rachel model in the fashion show and make that wish come true.

Rachel will be modelling the fantastic designs from Tokyo Boutique in Letterkenny and we are sure she will be a shining star on the night.

Noel Cunningham will compere & entertainment with “Mad Marcus”. Loads of local models and great fashions.

Tickets €10 pay at the door.
