DEATH NOTICES FOR TODAY, MONDAY, OCTOBER 17, 2011

DRUMMOND

The death has taken place of PJ Drummond of 15 East Rock, Ballyshannon. Peacefully at the Rock Nursing Unit, Ballyshannon. Ex Donegal Fire Officer and late of Ballyshannon ESB.

Reposing at his late residence, with removal this evening at 6.45pm, going to St. Joseph’s Church, The Rock, Ballyshannon, for 7pm. Funeral Mass on Tuesday at 12 noon, with interment immediately afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

House private please. Family flowers only please. Donations in lieu if desired to the Rock Nursing Unit, Ballyshannon, c/o Patrick McKenna and Paddy Fox Funeral Directors, Ballyshannon.

O’DONNELL

The death has taken place of Mary Ann O’Donnell of Main Street, Kilcar, Co. Donegal, at her residence. Removal from her residence on Tuesday at 10.30 am, for funeral mass at St Cartha’s Church, Kilcar, at 11 am. Burial in the local cemetery.

SHERIDAN

The death has taken place in Letterkenny General Hospial of John Sheridan, St Josephs Terrace, Rathmulan. Remains reposing from 3pm today (Mon).

Requiem mass in St Josephs Church Rathmullan at 12 noon on Wednesday followed by interment in the adjoining cemetery.

TOWNLEY

The death has taken place of Fiona Townley, nee Hunter, Daughter of Eilis and the late Kenny Hunter, Drumany, Letterkenny.

Burial will take place tomorrow (Tuesday) at 11am in St Georges Church, Toddington, England.

DORRIAN

The death has taken place at the Donegal Hospice, Letterkenny of Margaret Dorrian, Donegal Street, Ballybofey.

Removal from the Hospice today (Monday) at 3pm going to her late residence.

Funeral leaving her home on Wednesday morning for 11 o clock requiem mass in St Mary’s Church, Stranorlar followed by interment to Drumboe cemetery.

MCLAUGHLIN

The death has occurred in Denville, New Jersey, USA of Fr Anthony McLaughlin (Mason) formerly of Urblereagh, Malin Head.

Mass in St Marys Church, Denville on Thursday at 11am.

His remains will arrive at Belfast International Airport on Friday 21st of October at 10am.

Funeral will be on Sunday at St Mary’s Church, Lagg, Malin at 3pm.
