DONEGAL DEATH NOTICES FOR TUESDAY, OCTOBER 18, 2011

FLOOD

The death has occurred of Kathleen Flood, Crocknaconny, Pettigo, Co Donegal, peacefully at Donegal District Hospital. Reposing at her late residence until removal on Thursday at 10.15am to St. Mary’s Church, Pettigo, for 11am funeral Mass. Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery

GALLAGHER

The death has taken place at The Donegal Hospice of Michael Gallagher, Station Road, Creeselough and formerly Magheroarty, Gortahork. His remains are reposing at his late residence. Funeral in St Michael’s Church, Creeselough on Thursday at 11am and burial afterwards in Doe cemetery. Family flowers only please. Donations in lieu to the Donegal Hospice c/o Seamus Harkin Undertaker or any family member. Family time please from 11pm to 10am.

CARR

The death has taken place of Rose Carr, Croughan, Tamney, Fanad. Remains are reposing at her home. Requiem Mass tomorrow,Wednesday, in St Columba’s Church, Massmount at 11am. Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

SHERIDAN

The death has taken place in Letterkenny General Hospital of John Sheridan, St Josephs Terrace, Rathmullan. His remains are reposing at his home. Funeral from there tomorrow, Wed, for Requiem mass in St Joseph’s Church, Rathmullan at 12 noon. Interment afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. House private between 11pm and 10am.

DORRIAN

The death has taken place at the Donegal Hospice, Letterkenny of Margaret Dorrian, Donegal Street, Ballybofey. Her remains are reposing at her home. Funeral leaving her home tomorrow (Wednesday) at 10.30am for 11am Requiem Mass in St Mary’s Church, Stranorlar followed by interment to Drumboe cemetery. Family flowers only, donations in lieu if desired to the Donegal Hospice c/o any family member. Family time from 11pm until 10am.

FATHER MCLAUGHLIN (NEW JERSEY)

The death has occurred in Denville, New Jersey, USA of Fr Anthony McLaughlin (Mason) formerly of Urblereagh, Malin Head. Mass in St Marys Church, Denville on Thursday at 11am. His remains will arrive at Belfast International Airport on Friday 21st of October at 10am then on to his late residence at Urblereagh arriving at approx 1pm. Funeral from there on Sunday at 2.15pm to St Mary’s Church, Lagg, Malin for Requiem Mass at 3 o’clock. Interment afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. Family flowers only, donations in lieu if desired to the RNLI c/o Kelly’s Funeral Directors, Carndonagh.

DUFFY

The death has occurred at the Donegal Hospice of Eilish Duffy, Clar Road, Donegal Town. Removal from the Hospice today at 2 pm to her late residence.  Removal from her residence at 10.30 am on Thursday to St Patrick’s Church, Donegal Town, for 11 am Requiem Mass, with burial afterwards in Clar Cemetery.  House private please.
