THREE of Donegal’s best-known schools are to get funds for new or improved premises, the VEC said today.
The Irish language school Colaiste Ailigh in Letterkenny will have funding to have a new school in place – to replace its cramped premises – by 2013.
And Colaiste na Carrick’s new school works is also getting the go-ahead.
The VEC has also secured funding that will also see a substantial extension being developed at Deele College in Raphoe.
The CEO of the County Donegal VEC Mary Anne Kane said: “I am delighted with the outcome of our representations to secure funding.”
